Processing of Nuts
Since 2003 Prometeu-T offers its partner high quality services for processing of nut products, in particular, walnuts, brought to Moldova from France.
Cracking of walnuts is done manually, using wooden hammers only. It permits to extract greater percentage of halves, up to 85%, depending on variety and quality of inshell walnuts.
Sorting of kernels is handwork as well. This way we obtain homogeneous selection of fractions and very pure end product.
Refrigirated Storage
Prometeu-T has 5 refrigeration chambers with overall capacity of 600 Tones for fresh fruits and nuts. The temperature can be lowered down to -3 -5 0C. Every chamber is fully automatic and keeps preset temperature as long as necessary.
All chambers are independent of one another and can be rented to a company or an individual for storing fresh fruits or vegetables. Refrigeration complex includes 5 small fully furnished offices, to be used by leasers.
